Applied pyrotechnics
This course will enable any engineer or technician wishing to increase their knowledge of pyrotechnics to become familiar with the vocabulary of pyrotechnicians, explosive substances, products, areas of application and regulatory issues.
The course lasts 5 days (30 hours) and includes:
- Lectures
- Two visits
To provide engineers and technicians a practical and general view of the various technologies used in pyrotechnics in the Defense, Space and Automotive domains. Essential theoretical data will be briefly covered.
Course level: Advanced
Suitable for engineers, officers, and any manager/supervisor with a good scientific background. Advanced theoretical knowledge is not necessary for this course.
Prior completion of course DET 009 on "Energy Defense Materials" is beneficial.
