Human factors in aeronautics
Concepts and practical application on a simulator and TB 20 aircraft
This training course will enable participants to understand the key concepts of human factors and to learn cognitive engineering methods and tools in order to analyze and help people in situations involving critical control systems.
The course lasts 4.5 days (27 hours) and includes:
- 5 x 3-hour lectures
- 3 TP sessions (including one on the TB 20 aircraft and one simulator-based)
The course is limited to 9 people.
The topic of human factors is detailed through its various components: human system interface design, operator assistance and feedback.
This course offers a practical approach to the various theoretical concepts seen in class through practical exercises:
- through simulation (3-axis Airbus flight simulator)
- in real-flight conditions (equipped TB 20 aircraft).
Course level: Basic
There are no requirements regarding human sciences or aeronautics.
