Industrial approach of the STC process (#)

OBJECTIVE :

The main objective of this training course is to propose to the trainees a pragmatic approach of the aircraft completion projects, with the objective to provide an industrial point of view of this business.
The aircraft completion activity cannot be assimilated to the Aircraft OEM business or to the Aircraft MRO business.
So, the training course is focused on both, the specific constraints and the best practices of the STC process.
A part of the course is also dedicated to the military aircraft retrofits, taking into account the specific airworthiness rules context.

COURSE DURATION AND TIMETABLE :

This training course is organized in 5 days (30 hours).

The different presentations are based on the experience of the contributors

GENERAL APPROACH :

The Aircraft completion market offer lot of opportunities of profitable industrial projects. Nevertheless this business is subject to tough constraints with a high level of financial risks. An Aircraft major completion project is very often an intricate and challenging development process with a great need of coordination between the project actors.
Base on the contributors’ experience, this course could provide the main key points to manage efficiently this type of projects.

PREREQUISITE :

Level: Basic

No specific skill or knowledge are needed to assimilate this training, but a general experience of the aviation should be helpful for the trainees.
