Aeronautical air systems

OBJECTIVE :

The purpose of this training is to discover the latest developments to the various aeronautical air systems and to better understand their operation and dimensioning, how the associated equipment of an aircraft is integrated, and the market positioning of the various members of the industry.

COURSE DURATION AND TIMETABLE :

The course lasts 2 days (12 hours).

GENERAL APPROACH :

The various air systems are presented along with their respective functions and their constituent equipment. Many concrete examples are given during the lecture.This course features a visit to Liebherr Aerospace Toulouse.

PREREQUISITE :

Level: Basic

This course is for technicians, engineers and managers/supervisors.

CONTENT :

General principles of air systems, the main functions, impacts on the aircraft and the main challenges, market positioning of competitors and major partners.

  • Engine air sampling system
  • Air conditioning and flow control system
  • Air distribution and temperature control system
  • Icing protection system (airfoils and nacelles)
  • Cab air pressurization system
  • Leak detection system
