Engine certification and continued airworthiness

OBJECTIVE :

To give the elementary bases on certification and continued airworthiness of civil engines, necessary to any people, working within an Authority or within a private company, having to deal with these subjects.

COURSE DURATION AND TIMETABLE :

The course lasts 2,5 days (15 hours).

GENERAL APPROACH :

All aspects of the subject are considered, from the basic principles of civil aircraft certification to analysis of documentation for changes to the engine design (with practical exercises), including the description of the requirements applicable to engine certification.

The European context is also described.

PREREQUISITE :

Level: Basic / improvement

Engineers and managers.
