Certification Specifications (CS-25) aircraft cabin
Present and understand the CS-25 certification specifications related to passengers’ cabin characteristics. Articles of CS 25 Subparts D, F, G and H which are in relation with cabin requirements will be tackled; as necessary, related Acceptable Means of Compliance will be exposed.
This course applies to engineers wishing to improve their regulatory knowledge in cabin design and its associated substantiation regarding EASA requirements.
Course duration is 3 days (18 hours).
CS-25 certification specifications as well as their interpretation will be reviewed in depth insisting on key requirements, applicable means of compliance illustrated by specific presentations (Fire testing for example) and lessons learnt.
Level: Basic / Improvement
Basic Aircraft structure and systems knowledge.
This course may constitute a specialised complement to AED 066 course (focused on part 21 certification procedures & including CS-25 general overview).
This training is for any engineer involved in the design part of an aircraft cabin, the changes that can be addressed at this cabin in terms of overall configuration and in terms of installing new equipment.
