Industrial processes and management of aircraft configuration

OBJECTIVE :

This course is for anyone involved in industrial processes, from specifications to product maintenance. The aim is to offer basic knowledge about processes and how they interact and about the supply chain.Learners will take an intersectional look at the role of each profession by examining a modification instruction, its implementation into production and its delivery certification. The different impacts on each business process will be analyzed in order to identify practical solutions. This course focuses on aircraft configuration management processes and secondary processes.

It is aimed in particular at:

  • Program managers
  • Configuration managers
  • Designers
  • Technical assistants
  • Quality
  • Support
  • Purchasing
  • Logistics
  • IT project leads
  • Operational managers
  • RSI

COURSE DURATION AND TIMETABLE :

The course lasts 3.5 days (25 hours).

Practical work will focus on the process selected by each participant and a tutorial will focus on a use case: the GRAMS Airbus.

GENERAL APPROACH :

There will be an emphasis on issues related to the increasing difficulties of changing configuration during production. A comparison of the best practices of each aircraft manufacturer will enable learners to stimulate their critical minds, also useful to apply at work. The discussion will involve all participants.
