Preparing and leading
This course is for anyone wishing to acquire the knowledge and basic practices of constructing and leading a project in order to understand the dynamics of the processes that determine good project management and to explore the errors to avoid during both preparation and execution
The course lasts 3 days (18 hours) and includes:
- Lectures and examples
- Individual exercises and case studies
This course covers all the techniques used to effectively manage a project.
It is resolutely practical, with a complete case study that is part of a role play between different layers of project management, including a practical application with a project management tool.
The operating modes of the software as well as the settings used in the course are provided to learners so that they can then use them in their working environment.
The course approach is derived from the Postgrad Highware in Project Engineering, the IPMA certified course.
Course level: Basic
The course is for those closely involved in the management of an important small or sub-project.
Experience in project management would be beneficial.

EVALUATION OF THE COURSE AT DIFFERENT LEVELS
The course is subject to an evaluation process
on two levels (Kirkpatrick model);
The so-called level I standard evaluation is on a standard form that allows trainees to express their feelings at the time.
For intra-company tools, this evaluation can be supplemented by a Level III evaluation, where specific implementation by learners is the subject of a review conducted with the same group.
