Basics of electrical systems

OBJECTIVE :

This training is addressed to engineers or technicians, without particular skills in electricity, who want to discover or improve their knowledge about electrical architecture of aircrafts.

COURSE DURATION AND TIMETABLE :

The training session lasts 3 days (18 hours) and is composed by:

  • Training (15 hours)
  • Electrical facilities visit

GENERAL APPROACH :

The electrical power aboard aircrafts is constantly increasing. Electrifying functions, previously mechanics or hydraulics, is a cause of this phenomenon. As a consequence, new electrical devices are embedded on the network.

Despite the fact that the all electrical aircraft is not yet available, this training gives the opportunity to discover this system mainly through :

  • Electrical architecture compared between a traditional and a more electrical aircraft
  • Power electronics embedded
  • Network management and power quality
  • Electrical actuators

PREREQUISITE :

Level: Basic

Open to engineers and technicians, without any specialization, with basic electricity skills.
