Health and Usage Monitoring System (HUMS)
The course offers learners an understanding of the Health and Usage Monitoring System (HUMS), focusing on the relevant principles, techniques, processes and control strategies. This aeronautical system is used to monitor the structural elements and operation of equipment in order to ensure it is maintained in optimal operational condition using, among other things, predictive maintenance.
The course lasts 2 days (12 hours).
Health and Usage Monitoring assesses the integrity, health, and prediction of the state of degradation of aircraft components. This system enables predictive and optimal maintenance to be carried out with full awareness of the implications, ensuring both the availability and reliability required. The operational and economic benefits are presented through concrete applications.
The training is intended for engineers, senior technicians and managers involved in the design, implementation and maintenance of aeronautical equipment or structural elements. A complement to the knowledge of learners working for airlines and aircraft maintenance companies. Other learners will also be able to gain a basic knowledge of the concept and its effects through detailed reviews offered at each progressive stage of the course.
The course will cover the operating principles, architectures and implementation of the HUMS.
