Enhanced electrical aircraft
FROM ELECTRIFICATION TO PROPULSION
This course is intended for engineers and technicians with no specific specialization who wish to explore the principles of more-electric aircraft or to improve their knowledge in this field.
The course lasts 3 days and includes:
- Course and application of learning (18 hours)
More-electric aircraft are becoming an increasingly popular news topic within the specialized press. Many examples are regularly featured, ranging from the electrification of certain functions to electrical propulsion.
Accompanying this transformation are a significant increase in installed electrical power and new electric propulsion functions, all posing challenges.
Learners will become familiar with these systems through:
- The architecture of a more-electric aircraft
- The electrification of functions
- Electric propulsion
- Issues related to the increase in power
Course level: Basic
Open to engineers and technicians with no specialization with a basic knowledge of electricity.
Aeronautic terms will be available in English and French.
