Certification Specifications (CS-25) structures

OBJECTIVE :

Present and understand the CS25 certification specifications related to Structure (subpart C and D) as well as the related compliance demonstrations.

This course applies to engineers wishing to improve their regulatory knowledge in the structure area (flight and ground loads, emergency landing, flight control systems, landing gears) and associated technical domains (static, fatigue and dynamic computations and tests).

COURSE DURATION AND TIMETABLE :

Course duration is 2 days (14 hours).

GENERAL APPROACH :

CS25 certification specifications and their interpretation (Acceptable Means of Compliance, Guidance Material) will be reviewed while underlining the key requirements, salient compliance demonstrations, illustrated with examples (including flight test criteria) and lessons learnt.

PREREQUISITE :

Level: Basic / Improvement

Basic structure mechanic knowledge.

This course may constitute a specialised complement to AED 066 course (focused on part 21 certification procedures & including CS 25 general overview).
