Advanced Project Management Training

OBJECTIVE :

This course is for learners wishing to set the governance of a project portfolio.

It offers an overview of portfolio approaches based on the sharing of resources, the capitalization of feedback and the quality assurance of projects.

COURSE DURATION AND TIMETABLE :

The course lasts 3 days (18 hours) and includes:

  • Lectures and examples
  • Individual exercises, group work and case studies.

GENERAL APPROACH :

Current approaches and responses to ensure project contractors that a project is manageable and that the facility, product or service is durable.

Product insurance based on the insurance of its various components: version plans and configuration plans.

Construction of project quality assurance.

Project portfolio management process and project governance.

PREREQUISITE :

Course level: Advanced

The course is for management professionals of important small or sub-projects and who are required to participate in the management of projects of medium-to-high complexity.

EVALUATION OF THE COURSE AT DIFFERENT LEVELS

The course is subject to an evaluation process

 (from the Kirkpatrick model) at four levels:

The so-called level I evaluation that allows trainees to express their feelings at the time.

As part of the Postgraduate Highware Program in Project Engineering (IPMA - International Project Management Association), this course is subject to a knowledge evaluation (known as level II), a standardized evaluation of group work (level III), and an evaluation of acquired skills (level IV).

For intra-company tools, this evaluation can be supplemented by a Level III evaluation, where specific implementation by learners is the subject of a review conducted with the same group.
