Design of complex systems - 2022

Strategy for the management of the effects of obsolescence upon the product lifecycle

This course is aimed at any engineer or supervisor/manager interested in the questions posed by the obsolescence of components for the production of professional equipment and major civil and military systems.

This day of "training reflection" will enable learners to take stock of the situation and the tools and methods that can be used to deal with it.

The course lasts 1 day (7 hours).

The issue of obsolescence of components is a crucial one for industrial equipment manufacturers and system equipment.

The course provides an overview of the topic in its various components.

Practical examples help illustrate the lectures. A study of an operational example is presented.

Course level: Basic

This seminar is intended for a very wide audience of senior engineers and technicians with no particular specialization.
